As you can see did her middle name also change: from "T" in "Conduit" to "Ann" in "Paper Clip".

| The answer - she was 8 - is correct, mainly because that's what the show always has contended that she was. But as EmpHand pointed out to me: Samantha's birthdate was originally January 22, 1964 as seen in "Conduit - 1X03": |

She disappeared November 27, 1973 as seen in "Two Fathers - 6X11", and that would make her 9 years old at
the time of her abduction. In "Paper Clip - 3X02", she got a new birthdate: |

And this makes her 8 years old at the time of her disappearence. What a mess - but please don't blame me :o) As you can see did her middle name also change: from "T" in "Conduit" to "Ann" in "Paper Clip". |
